Conversations with Gibran

This html document follows a conversation between Gibran Khalil Gibran and myself. When the viewer initially accepts to get a peak at the converstaion, the piece places the viewer during a chat session as words are being typed. From the discussion, the viewer can tell that the two know each other. Gibran, who lived in the late 19th century and early 20th century, uses a chat language and smileys, replacing you with u, at with @ and to be with 2 b, etc. Once a chat is over, the viewer can navigate back in time to see older chats: one held a week before, another a month before and the last a year before, when the two first chatted. Through the discussions, the viewer finds out that Gibran was working on his now famous "The Prophet." He was explaing wisdoms and giving me advice when I asked him for answers.
