Wake up!

Used in a short performance, with me sleeping underneath a projector where this applet was projected onto. The screen is at first blank, then an alarm goes off, and a dream is blown up as I struggle to turn it off. Then another alarm goes off, and another dream on fire is bombed away, dropping from the top as a bomb would. This continues with about 15 alarms, until I decide to get out of bed.

This was to express my hatred of waking up. I dislike waking up so much I'd rather not sleep, because I find it very difficult. I usually have 3 alarms set to turn on at a few minute intervals.

This also is a comment on a joke about my diificulty waking up which my family repeated "You wouldn't wake up if a bomb fell nearby". That has proven to be true when a bomb dropped by a mile away from our house in Lebanon at 4 am in the summer of 2006 during the war. The house shook, windows shook, everyone panicked, except for me, who slept away as if nothing had happened...
